Xfinity Invest AS(“we”, “us”) operates this website. We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to talk to you and run the site.
Data we collect
- Contact form / newsletter: the name, email address, topic, and message you submit. Stored in our database in the EU (Neon, eu-central-1) so we can reply to you and keep a record of the conversation.
- AI assistant (“Tide”):the messages you send and the assistant’s replies. Stored together with a random session identifier so we can improve the experience and answer your follow-ups.
- Server logs: standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) handled by our hosting provider Vercel for security and basic operational analytics. Retention is short (typically 30 days).
We do not use third-party advertising trackers or marketing pixels.
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Article 6(1)(a) — your consent, by submitting a form or starting a conversation with the assistant.
- Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website and in responding to inbound business enquiries.
How long we keep it
- Contact and chat messages: kept until you ask us to delete them, or for up to 36 months from your last interaction, whichever is sooner.
- Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: 30 days, handled by Vercel.
Sub-processors
- Vercel Inc. — hosting, edge network, server logs.
- Neon — managed Postgres database, EU region.
- Anthropic (via Vercel AI Gateway) — runs the assistant. Conversations are sent to the model provider for the duration of the response only.
- Yahoo Finance — public market quotes shown on the home page. We don’t share your data with them.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data, or to restrict how we use it. Send a note via the contact formand we’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
Cookies
We don’t set marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used by Vercel for security (e.g. anti-CSRF). The TradingView lightweight-charts library is bundled and runs locally — it does not load third-party scripts on its own.
